What makes stone-ground chocolate different?
Unlike highly processed chocolate, our stone-ground process preserves the bold, gritty texture and complex flavors of the organic cacao bean. We use traditional Mexican stone mills (molinos) to grind our cacao.
Is Taza Chocolate vegan and allergen-friendly?
Yes, all Taza Chocolate products are Certified USDA Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, Certified Gluten-Free, and Dairy-Free/Vegan. We do not use soy or emulsifiers in our process.
How do you handle shipping in warm weather?
During summer months or when shipping to warm climates, we use insulated packaging and ice packs to ensure your chocolate arrives in perfect condition. We recommend choosing expedited shipping for these orders.
What is your return policy for food items?
As our products are perishable food items, we cannot accept returns. However, if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact our customer service team within 14 days for a replacement or refund.
Do you offer international shipping?

How should I store my chocolate?
To maintain freshness, store your chocolate in a cool, dry place between 60-70°F. Avoid refrigeration if possible, as it can cause 'bloom' or white streaks on the surface due to moisture.
